Derby Public Schools is excited to share our free summer learning opportunities for currently enrolled K-5 students and families to sign up!
All sessions will be held at Tanglewood Elementary, 830 N. Ridgecrest in Derby and will run Monday through Thursday from 8-11AM (no Fridays). This summer’s sessions are:
- Session 1: June 1-June 25, 2026
- Session 2: July 6-July 22, 2026
Opportunities are organized by grade levels: Kindergarten, 1st-2nd grade and 3rd-5th grade. When looking at the Google Form to sign up, to get to this applicable grade level for your child, you can skip ahead by simply selecting “Next” to view additional options. Please select options based on the grade they will be in for the 2026-2027 school year.
Some learning opportunities are offered in both June and July, allowing students the option to participate in more than one session. Transportation will be available from each elementary school for families who would like their students to ride a bus from their home school. Additional transportation details will be shared by the end of May.
