Tanglewood Elementary was designed in a circular configuration in which students are able to be grouped into pods. This special feature creates an open concept environment conducive to team teaching and cooperative learning. Tanglewood serves students in a positive team atmosphere with dedicated and caring staff. Students have the full support of enthusiastic staff and families.

Tanglewood focuses on developing each student’s strengths and skills through grit and perseverance, making them more  resilient and productive members of our community. Technology is integrated into our curriculum at all grade levels. Tanglewood offers a 1:1 ratio of iPads for students in Kindergarten-1st grade and a 1:1 ratio of Chromebooks for students in 2nd-5th grade. Teachers use a variety of tools to engage students in new and challenging educational experiences.

Tanglewood has a rich history of teaching excellence. Recognized as a Project Lead The Way Distinguished School (2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023), we work to empower our students to utilize their potential by developing real-world knowledge and skills necessary to thrive inside and outside of the classroom. Tanglewood was recognized for the Civic Advocacy Network (CAN) award as a School of Excellence.
